where is winwin of nct?! someone pls catch me up
Main Post:
hey guys i haven't been caught up in the kpop scene, i just listen to songs once in a while. definitely not as passionate about it as i used to be in my teenage years lol so im not very involved in fandoms anymore or up to date on what's going on with idols but the only boy group i was obsessed with was nct. Winwin was my ultimate bias and i follow him on instagram but like what's up with him and wayv? is he still an idol? i haven't seen any nct posts with him (idk if i missed any) i'm aware he's working on his dramas in china but does he still want to be in nct ?? i know sm has always mistreated him but like wtf does he not promote with wayv anymore? sorry i just need to be caught up with what's up with winwinđ i've been thinking a lot about him lately and im wondering if he even wants to be an idol anymore or if he's just focusing on being an actor
Top Comment: Like others said he's spending time in China. I think most idols from China end up going back to their country and Winwin is no exception to that. I dare say he's just waiting until his contract with SM ends. It's like why stay in Korea when he has tons of options in his homeland and can probably have more solo projects versus in Korea. It does feel like as a fan you'd want them to remain a Kpop idol and that's what many of us in Kpop spaces do feel. A blunt thought is like Chinese trainees try to become an idol so they gain enough popularity to return to their home country as a star. Just like how Lay/Luhan/Tao from Exo or Jackson from Got7 have a lot of activities in China for example. I would not bat an eye if Zhanghao and Ricky from ZB1 end up returning to China if ZB1 doesn't renew their contract and oh my god how fast time flies their 30 month contract is supposedly ending in early 2026.
WIN Reality Review or Updates
Main Post:
I was interested in WIN Reality for my 4 kids. I did some researching online but don't seem to find many positives reviews. At the same time, the posts I did find seem to be dated.
Anyone using this? I know there isn't a perfect product out there, just curious if someone is actually using it?
Thanks!
Top Comment: We have it - I like it, my son likes its - we had no issues with set up, there are some things you have to figure out but its a pretty useful batting sim. We have the bat attachment so its also a workout since it adds a little weight (we use it on his older bats now to try to keep the swing weight equal to his real bat). He became a better hitter, I don't credit WR with that solely at all! but it was in the stew of batting stuff we did. And its fun enough that they will use it - I personally think it is worth it (now my Quest 2 will not connect to Wifi, but its old, so maybe its just dying).
How do you guys win? Serious question.

Almost every encounter I have with a player completely destroys me. No matter what build I'm playing it seems like every time they're one step ahead of me.it's like they have all the items they need all the time
I'm not buying scrap items. Idk if that matters. I'm prioritizing items. Im playing the pig guy and the robot. I've seen Vanessa so many times i don't want to play with her. I guess it's meta? So that is why everyone plays with her?
Do you you have any tips?
Top Comment: Well, donât âprioritize itemsâ; whatever that means. If youâre rerolling constantly to get the items you want thatâs probably bad if you donât have the econ to support that spending strategy. You need more than just items to win. Skills matter a ton too. Every build needs skills to help scale it. When you say scrap items, I assume youâre talking about Curio. Curio, the junk item vendor, can be insanely good, since he offers items that reduce cooldown. He also has stuff that increases the numbers on your items like burn, poison, damage, shield, heal. A few buffs on an itemâs numbers are sometimes all you need to win. Iâd recommend taking a more wholistic approach to playing the game. You canât tunnel vision one aspect or else you will fail. You have to take into account many things at once and your strategy must be multifaceted to win.
What would be the perfect amount for you to win and what would you do?
Main Post:
I've thought alot about this. I want to win a lottery jackpot of over $500 million dollars because I would do yearly payouts for 30 years and that would be a great amount for me and what I want to do, which is nothing really exciting, buy a house under a LLC and Trust, help my friend, her mom and her pets move, buy an RV, get my car restored, have a Catio built for my dog and cats, have an enclosed aviary built for my birds. Donate to one or two charities when they need help, pay off two credit cards and student loans. Get a private mailbox, put my car and RV under my LLC and Trust too. Give a two weeks notice and leave school.
Also, people do win the lottery jackpots all the time. So why not me, and why not you.
Top Comment: My pipe dream is to win $100M+ after taxes. That money could be put to good use to make an impact in the community and help others out. You could do all of that and have enough to potentially create generational wealth. Truthfully, $100M+ is a huge responsibility and can be dangerous if you donât already have a stable foundation in your life. The more modest side of me would be content with $10M-$50M after taxes. This is an amount that lets you set yourself up to live comfortably in any HCOL city. The money allows you to live middle class or upper class depending on the geographic area you reside in. This would keep me grounded and it wouldnât warp my reality/perception as much as a $100M+ payout would.
Is the Win Max 2 2024 worth buying right now?
Main Post:
Iâm looking for a laptop/gaming device for travels in January and the Win max 2 ticks all the boxes. Knowing my bad luck, I feel that itâll get refreshed as soon as I purchase it.
Do we have any leaks or rumours around the win max 3 yet? An oled screen or high refresh rate would be great (if itâs released before Jan that is)
Also, Iâm in Australia, anyone know where the best and safest place to purchase it from regarding price and warranty? Iâm looking at indiegogo directly which is cheaper than AliExpress.
Edit: Thanks for all the replies. Is indiegogo a good place to purchase from?
Top Comment: 8840u vs HX 370 isnât that far off if you take away the NPU and donât intend to push a ton of power through it, which you wonât when on the go. Duo is currently running on IGG. Next is Pocket 3 4, which had just been announced and the IGG page doesnât exist yet. After that, who knows. I wouldnât expect anything new until next March at the earliest which, if itâs the WM3, would mean July/August delivery. Get the WM2. Iâve been using the original 6800u and the 2024 8840u since late 2022 as my primary laptop for work and hobby photography. I have not found any reasonable limitations.
You know why you didnât winâŚ
Main Post:
If your outfit was better than everyoneâs, if it was terrible, it doesnât matter.
People vote others 1 â alllll the time on an attempt to win and ALL YALL know it. You didnât win because people arenât voting based on how the outfit looks.
Pleaseeeee just say, âI loved my outfit this round!â You donât have to complain about worse outfits winning to show off ur fit đ
Top Comment:
Iâm confused why everyone votes for the people who join late and have no face or outfit over the other amazing outfits itâs so annoying. And thereâs a question to ask if you want to join late and they still say yes ?? Like you have 30 seconds youâre not gonna create a fit đ
I feel like most people don't want to win, they want to carry
Main Post:
Hi,
First off, this is not a rant. I don't care about climbing; I am actually climbing fine. I just want to share and discuss something with the community.
I've been spamming a lot of ranked games in the last week and noticed a pattern in the losing matches. Some of the losses were because we played worse or the enemy played better. However, in over 50% of the losses, there are 1 or 2 people in same match who don't want to play the game after they lose their lane. They spam FF, don't defend, don't interact with the team, and sometimes let the enemy team push to our nexus, even if other teammates are ahead and it's clearly winnable. I'm not talking about close games where enemy players are fed and it looks like the game is lost. I'm talking about normal games that are clearly winnable, but 1 or 2 people don't perform well and throw the game because they can't carry.
I started to watch games in the long run instead of focusing on individual games, which is how I noticed this pattern in losing games. It seems like a lot of people in those games don't want to win unless they can carry by themselves. I play fill roles and also fill champions according to the teamâs needs. In over 90% (actually all) of the games, I am playing a tank engage with CC because everyone else wants to play a carry. I'm specifically talking about the losing games where people don't seem to want to win.
Unfortunately, I play with full mute on every game at the start, so I can't relate to what's happening in chat. Even if people refuse to try to win, I support them regardless of my role. For example, a high number of these players are ADCs. When they start solo split pushing 24/7, I still keep an eye on them to peel for them.
Am I just a bit unlucky with the system having these people? Are you also seeing this in your losing games?
It would be interesting to hear from one of those players about their thoughts on this behavior, why they do it, and how we could help prevent it.
